Old West Christmas Light Fest is a holiday experience on a real Texas ranch in picturesque Boerne, TX, just north of San Antonio. The 2026 season will be our eleventh year of lighting up the holidays and our sixth year at Enchanted Springs Ranch. We have no affiliated events, so if you’re not at Enchanted Springs Ranch, don’t be fooled: you’re not at the REAL Christmas Light Fest. Our holiday experience includes millions of lights, walk-through light tunnels, falling snow, laser tag in the lights, mechanical bull rides, a Barrel Train ride for little ones, Santa’s Holly Jolly Herd of longhorns, live music, food, and straight from the North Pole, Santa Claus himself! Brimming with activities and fun, our Old West town is the perfect way to make lasting memories this holiday season.
Old West Christmas Light Fest is a fully immersive walkthrough holiday festival that takes place in a 6-acre Old West town. When you arrive at the ranch, you’ll want to park your car and walk around to see millions of twinkling lights and enjoy all the festival has to offer!
Old West Christmas Light Fest is located at Enchanted Springs Ranch at 242 State Hwy 46 W. Boerne, TX 78006. For some easy directions coming from San Antonio:
-Drive north on IH 10 West
-Exit the highway at exit 540
-Turn left on Highway 46
-Drive for three quick miles and enter the ranch on your right
You’ll know that you’ve found us when you see the lights! Please remember to drive carefully. We want all of our light lovers to be safe! And if you notice “Unit C” in our address and wonder what that’s about, that’s how we make sure Claus, as in Santa Claus, gets his mail while he’s in Texas!
Old West Christmas Light Fest at Enchanted Springs Ranch will be aglow from 5 PM to 10 PM on 15 nights in 2026:
- November: Friday 27, Saturday 28, Sunday 29
- December: Friday 4, Saturday 5, Sunday 6
- December: Friday 11, Saturday 12, Sunday 13
- December: EVERY night, Friday 18 through Wednesday 23
The closer we get to Christmas, the more active it gets around the Old West town! Each night will vary, but arriving when the gates open at 5:00 PM is generally slower than later in the event. However, with all the space we have in our Old West town, guests can spread out so come out whenever you can!
While we’re always in the holiday spirit, we also want to be sure that all of our fellow holiday lovers are safe. If bad weather forces us to close for a night, we’ll post the news on our Event Updates & Links page and our social media channels, and add a banner to the main page of this website. If we close for the night due to inclement weather, all tickets for that evening are automatically refunded. Please contact customer service ([email protected]) with any questions or concerns!

Ticket Information
After selecting your date of attendance, select your tickets. Below that you will see a box that says Coupon Code. Enter the promo code and select Apply. You will immediately see your savings applied. Please email [email protected] or utilize our guest chat for any questions you have!
Cash and cards will be accepted at the event and by the various food and merchandise vendors.
We don’t want you to miss out on the holiday fun this year! We highly recommend that you pre-purchase your tickets online as soon as possible to ensure you have your tickets before the event sells out. Discounted tickets are only available online as full-price tickets are available for purchase at the gate.
Tickets go on sale online October 1, 2026. General Admission (ages 6 and up) is $25, Military and First Responder tickets are $20, and children ages five and under are free, no ticket needed! NEW for 2026, our Season Pass ($37.50) is good for every night of the season. We also offer a Family 5-Pack for five guests and discounted group tickets for groups of 20 or more. All online ticket prices are plus fees. Tickets may be available at the gate depending on how many remain, so we always advise purchasing your tickets ahead of time!
Yes! New for 2026, the Season Pass is $37.50 (plus fees) and gets one guest (ages 6 and up) into every night of the 2026 festival, as often as you’d like. It pays for itself in just two visits! Season Passes are non-transferable, so we’ll snap a quick photo at your first check-in to match the pass to its holder.
Buses and large groups are more than welcome to enjoy Old West Christmas Light Fest. Tickets for groups of 20 or more are available for discount. Group tickets are available online as long as all members of your group arrive together. Please send us an email for more details on how to purchase group tickets ([email protected]).
Tickets may be purchased in advance online via credit or debit card. Tickets can be purchased at the gate at full price but we recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to guarantee that you get your tickets before the event is sold out!
Old West Christmas Light Fest offers all members of the military (active duty, guard, reserves, and retired) and their families a $5 discount on tickets. First responders and emergency personnel and their families also receive these discounts throughout the holiday season. Buy your discounted military tickets online and simply show a valid military ID at the Old West Christmas Light Fest gate. Thank you for your service!
No problem, as long as you let us know before your night! You can transfer your tickets to another open night of the 2026 season any time before the night your tickets are for. Visit your Account Center to manage your tickets online or email [email protected] and we’ll help. Please note: once tickets are scanned at check-in, they can no longer be transferred.
We are open, rain or shine! If the event is closed, due to inclement weather, you will automatically be issued a refund for your purchased tickets and we will post updates via our social media and the front page of our website.
All ticket sales are final. If something comes up, you are welcome to email a refund request to [email protected]. Our team will review it and reply within five business days. If we cancel a festival night (for example, due to severe weather), tickets for that night are refunded automatically. Can’t make your night? You can also transfer your tickets to another open night, as long as you do it before your original night.
Parking at Old West Christmas Light Fest is free and we have dedicated handicap parking spaces for those in need of closer parking.

Event Activities & Experience
Santa will be visiting his favorite Texas ranch EVERY night we are open. Bring your wish list and your camera—there’s no charge for photos with Santa at Old West Christmas Light Fest, making it the place to be to get your picture-perfect holiday photo. And if you’re on the naughty list, our Old West town has a jail, so watch out!
No, pictures with Santa are always free at Old West Christmas Light Fest! The Old West town has more than 40 Old West storefronts, making every spot a picture-perfect photo op! Be sure to also stop by the fantastic Instagram room filled with props to help you make even more share-worthy photos.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted at Old West Christmas Light Fest. However, we do have great food vendors waiting to serve holiday favorites everyone will enjoy. We understand some individuals have allergy or dietary issues, and in those cases, please contact us to make arrangements regarding outside food needs.
There is a wide variety of food available! From burgers to funnel cakes, there are lots of snacks to enjoy! And don’t forget yummy hot cocoa and s’mores you can roast right by the fire!
Twinkling Christmas lights fill the entire Old West town. Stroll along and enjoy the holiday hits as they play throughout the whole venue. Walk through the glowing light tunnels, play in the falling snow, step into the Grinch Room, and stop by the Chapel for cartoons and photo ops. Kids love the NEW Barrel Train ride, cookie decorating and coloring, ornament making and glitter faces with Operation Christmas Child, and the interactive Scavenger Hunt. Other fun activities available for an additional fee include Laser Tag in the Lights, Mechanical Bull rides, and winner-every-time games on the Trading Post porch. Be sure to visit Santa at the Six Gun Saloon, write him your Christmas letter, and snuggle up to roast s’mores at the campfires. Old West Christmas Light Fest is filled with family fun; there’s something for everyone!
Enchanted Springs Ranch began as a Hollywood film set and has grown to become one of the area’s premier private event venues for corporate events and company picnics! With a full-scale Old West town with over 40 stylized storefronts, the ranch has been home to many films, commercials, and music videos. Enchanted Springs Ranch is a private event venue that is usually closed to the public but opens its gates to share in the holiday spirit during Old West Christmas Light Fest. It’s the perfect spot for a Hill Country Christmas! If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind venue for your next private event, reach out to the Enchanted Springs Ranch team!
If we’re enjoying cooler Christmas weather, please be sure to dress appropriately. We are an outdoor ranch venue, and you’ll want to walk around and enjoy all the event has to offer throughout the Old West town. We recommend proper outdoor attire and footwear. Bring a blanket if you’d like to cozy up with some hot cocoa and snuggle by the fire!
Yes! You’ll find live music on the stage of the Silver Spur Saloon every night of the event! Be sure to check out our Entertainment Calendar. We also have a roaming professional trick roper every night of the festival from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM and line dancing lessons on select nights from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM! Event Accessibility
We’re the Old West, of course, wagons are allowed! If you’d like to bring your little ones in a wagon or in a stroller to see Santa and enjoy the Old West, feel free. You may need to hitch your stroller or wagon outside of some Old West buildings, however. And note: our Old West town is authentic. You won’t find pavement or asphalt on the streets of our town. We have hosted thousands of visitors and a large number of groups with no accessibility issues, however, the Old West Streets are not a smooth surface. Our grounds are caliche, which means that every once in a while, it’s soft enough that our animal friends might leave hoof prints for you to discover. It also means that the wheels of your strollers and wagons might not roll as smoothly as you’d like. Our terrain also includes some slight downhill slopes and walkways as well.
Old West Christmas Light Fest offers both dedicated accessible parking and restrooms to accommodate any visitors who may need them. Note: Our Old West town is authentic. You won’t find pavement or asphalt on the streets of our town. We have hosted thousands of visitors and a large number of groups with no accessibility issues, however, the Old West Streets are not a smooth surface. Our grounds are caliche, which means that every once in a while, it’s soft enough that our animal friends might leave hoof prints for you to discover. It also means that wheelchair wheels or wheeled strollers might not roll as smoothly as you’d like. Our terrain also includes some slight downhill slopes and walkways as well. We offer a flat surface entrance to our saloons, so everyone has access to visit Santa and hear live music.
Due to safety concerns, bicycles and personal scooters are not allowed to be ridden through the lights. As bright as our lights are, it’s just too dark on the trail to ensure safety for everyone.
